A short film I shot in Korea with my friend and co-director James Williams will be showing at the KOTE (Kingston On The Edge) short film night tonight! Here are a few snapshots of behind the scenes stuff from the day of the shoot!

Kingston’s premiere night club went through extensive renovations recently and had a prelaunch party (before the main launch tonight) I had drinks courtesy of Appleton Jamaica and it was a good vibe! If you are curious about how it looks take a peep below.
I like the logo.
I like the entryway here. This reminds me somewhat of Trump Room in Tokyo.
Biggups to DJ Sanjay!
The club feels larger than it used to be. I like the sense of “movement” horizontally with the bars on either side of the DJ. Before the renovation the DJ area took up a portion of the dancing area, and I can definitely see tons more bodies fitting into this space. The V.I.P area looks pretty cool too (sorry I didn’t take a picture). I’m feeling the colours and the lighting as well! Good vibes!
My boy Wynton a.k.a “Bar Tuff” hanging with the new proprietor David Annakie and some friends.
I really like how the bathroom looks. The gold finishes are pretty cool (before it was black tile).
Since Fiction used to have an outdoor party deck, i’m curious to see how the management will use this new area. I like the couches and the lounge atmosphere but I wonder if they’ll move them if a huge crowd comes through (or will this be an exclusive V.I.P area?) We’ll see.
All in all it was a good time at the new spot! Maybe i’ll pass through again later!
Japanese Ambassador presentation Leave a comment
I was honoured to present artwork designed in a Japanese style to the Japanese Ambassador Yasuo Takase and his wife at the closing day of the “Kingdom of Characters” exhibition, held at the National Gallery of art in Kingston, Jamaica. A full video of the presentation is below. Enjoy!
